The format of the conference

The conference is planned to be held in person, using the corporate platform Zoom to connect participants remotely (if the epidemiological situation changes, the format can be changed)

Pre-registration is required.

Section 1. ENHANCING ACCESSIBILITY OF THE ARCTIC REGIONS

  • The current state of transport infrastructure in the Arctic zone of Russia.
  • Development of transport infrastructure (railways, waterways and roads), expansion of the network of airports and landing sites.
  • Development of the agro-industrial complex in the Arctic zone.
  • Ensuring the durability and operational reliability of roads and transport infrastructure facilities.
  • Development of systems of situation monitoring and forecasting of man-made emergencies in the Arctic zone.
  • The state and development of information and communication infrastructure.
  • Problems of ensuring the stability of buildings and structures, ways to eliminate or reduce the negative impact of climate change.

 

Section 2. INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES AND EQUIPMENT

  • Development of technology and equipment for drilling in permafrost conditions.
  • Development of methods to ensure the required level of reliability of machines when operating in arctic conditions.
  • Development of materials and equipment for use in the Arctic conditions.
  • Development and application of effective engineering solutions to prevent damage to infrastructure elements due to global climate change.
  • Development of construction materials and structures for operation in the Arctic conditions.

 

Section 3. INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION

  • Experience of practical application of the results of scientific research in the conditions of the Arctic zone.
  • Personnel training and bringing the system of professional education and further education in compliance with the predicted staffing needs of employers in the economy and social sphere of the Arctic zone.
  • Intensification of international economic, scientific and humanitarian cooperation on the development of the Arctic zone.
  • Creating a state system for monitoring and preventing the negative consequences of permafrost degradation.
  • Economic aspects of Arctic development.

Publication

  • Following the results of the Conference, it is planned to publish a collection of materials with indexation in the Science Index

  • Articles are submitted in Russian and English according to the template and submitted to the Organizing Committee together with all the documents listed in the requirements until 03 June 2022 to the conference mail: conf-spbgasu@yandex.ru
